A Kerala MLA is an Elected Citizen of India from a Kerala Constituency. He or She need not be a resident of Kerala. Any Indian can contest the election. Once elected, the citizen becomes a MLA. He or She will represent the constituency in Legislate Assembly. Even though MLA will make or amend laws of Kerala State, an MLA will work for the development and to solve issues related to the citizens of that constituency specifically.
