Pinarayi Vijayan is native of Pinarayi of Kannur. He is the chief Minister of Kerala. He was Chief Minister for 2016 to 2021 as well. Also he was former Minister of Electricity and Cooperation. He was one of the longest serving General Secretary of CPIM of Kerala. He is having an educational qualification of Graduation.

A Kerala MLA is an Elected Citizen of India from a Kerala Constituency. He or She need not be a resident of Kerala. Any Indian can contest the election. Once elected, the citizen becomes a MLA. He or She will represent the constituency in Legislate Assembly. Even though MLA will make or amend laws of Kerala State, an MLA will work for the development and to solve issues related to the citizens of that constituency specifically. MLA is the person who has the authority of making or amending laws. It is done at Legislative Assembly where all MLAs of the state are present.
